Bruce and I have lived in our home since 1986. When it was time to replace our carpet Kris Hanson (Southland Flooring & Remodels) was there to help me with the decision of “hardwood or new carpet?” I was always worried that hardwoods would be “cold” in the winter. I was so wrong!! The process Kris uses when he installs is way above standard. The concrete is insulated, then a layer of plywood, then more insulation before he starts with the actual floors. My floors are absolutely beautiful (warm and inviting), even after 6 years! Everyone that visits my home comments on how beautiful my floors are! I don’t even use area rugs because I don’t want to hide them. We would definitely recommend Kris and Southland Flooring & Remodels to anyone that is considering new flooring or remodeling.
